A month ago today the OECD Blockchain Policy Forum took place in Paris, France. The OECD is the Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development and promotes policies that improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world.
To quote the OECD “the OECD Blockchain Policy Forum was the first major international conference to take stock of blockchain’s impacts across the full range of government activities and public priorities. The forum addressed the benefits and risks of blockchain for our economies and societies, began to identify good policy and regulatory approaches, and investigate uses in specific policy areas. The OECD welcomed over 1,150 senior decision-makers from the public and private sectors, experts, academics and other stakeholders for these landmark discussions.”
QKIP was there to collaborate, contribute and bring our views as a blockchain private business initiative.
Details, podcasts and other material from the Forum can be found here.
